Clash of the Titans

Well don't expect it to be much diffeerent from the original. Sam Worthington is about as animated as an old broken stop motion puppet. Harry Hamlin's camp with his non-existencent acting skills is far superior than Sam's attempt at Perseus.

Liam Neeson as Zeus and Ralph Fiennes as Hades are the only thing worth watching in this film. The 3-D is a waste of time as it was an after thought and doesn't come close to Avatar. The retro feel of the Kracken however is neat. The movie could of been better if we had a lead actor with some talent.

Hot Tub Time Machine

Just got home tonight from seeing this comedy starring John Cusack, Rob Corddry, Clark Duke, Chevy Chase. It was not what I expected... This is not the same movies of which made Chevy and John stars. I feel completely stolen from, the trailer looked like it would be fun and funny, but it didn't happen for me.

The only thing I can see that might save these two Iconic funny men is a sequal to one of thier 80's star makers. I'd like to see Chase in Fletch and Cusack in Better off Dead.

And the studio can put it on the Underhills' bill.

The Tourist

With a Star Studded cast, Johnny Depp, Angelina Jolie, Paul Bettany and the long awaited return of Timothy Dalton. The director is no other than Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck, a brillant young German filmmaker. He took the BAFTAs by storm in 2008taking home Best Film Not in the English Language for The Lives of Others and Nominated,Best Director for The Lives of Others and Best screenplay.

This Drama/Thriller revolves around Frank, an American tourist visiting Italy to mend a broken heart. Elise is an extraordinary woman who deliberately crosses his path.

When I came across this I was extremely intrigued and am eagerly waiting to see this film and review.

Sinatra

The life story of legendary singer and actor, Frank Sinatra. I'm really excited over this film being directed by one of the greatest film directors of our time Martin Scorsese. This biopic should give us the real truth on old Blue Eyes.

Rumor has it the the young and talented Academy Nominated Leonardo DiCaprio will play Frank. No word yet on who will fill the roles fellow Rat Pack memebers, but rest assured that I will update more when I hear who fills those shoes. And what shoes to fill!

Bad Teacher

Starring Justin Timberlake,Cameron Diaz and Jason Segel. This comedy is sure to be interestingly funny. Pairing Justin and Cameron together after their tabloid break up will sure to be exciting to watch how well they interact together on the big screen. Who knows sparks just might spark again off screen, look out Jessica, Cameron might be trying to get her man back.

The movie is about a foul-mouthed, junior high teacher who, after being dumped by her sugar daddy, begins to woo a colleague -- a move that pits her against a well-loved teacher.

So this shouldn't be too much of a stretch for Ms. Diaz.

Greenberg

"He's got a lot on his mind." Not really, although Ben Stiller tried to make a different kind of comedy. Well, he sort of fell flat and it shows as it did very poorly at the box office.

The movie is about a New Yorker moving to Los Angeles in order to figure out his life while he housesits for his brother, and he soon sparks with his brother's assistant.

Well this is un-original to begin with, I can't name the films that came before this one but I have sat watching this very same plot in a number of slighly different ways.

Grown Ups

Looks like one laugh a minute comedy starring a line up of funny men. Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Salma Hayek, Mario Bello, Rob Schneider, David Spade, Chris Rock are directed by Dennis Dugan.

About the film. 30 yrs after winning a championship basketball game 5 pals reunite at their coach’s funeral, rekindle their friendships, grouse about how their lives have gone, deal with the demands of their wives/kids, and eventually realize they’ve got it pretty good.

This one has me laughing already and relating to all these things.

My Fair Lady

The remake starring a true up and coming Academy Nominated and BAFTA winning talent Carey Mulligan to play Eliza Doolittle. Directed by John Madden, (Shakespeare in Love,Captain Corelli's Mandolin) will be sure to make the remake new and different with a twist of genius.

The original My Fair Lady starring Audrey Hepburn was adaptation of the Broadway musical about Professor Henry Higgins, who takes a bet from Colonel Pickering that he can transform unrefined, dirty Cockney flower girl Eliza Doolittle into a lady, and fool everyone into thinking she really is one, too! He does, and thus young aristocrat Freddy Eynsford-Hill falls madly in love with her. But when Higgins takes all the credit and forgets to acknowledge her efforts, Eliza angrily leaves him for Freddy, and suddenly Higgins realizes he's grown accustomed to her face and can't really live without it.

Remember Me

I finally got around to seeing this, I was putting it off because the reviews. Hate to say it the reviewers were right on the money. A droopy up and out and down love story that for anyone real would not be so hung up on either of the two characters. A bet from a friend to date the homely loser girl Emilie de Ravin, and after a little getting to know her Robert Pattinson falls for her. While Robert was ok in the film, he should of stayed clear from this one. Pierce Brosnan was the worst I've ever seen him. Emilie fails deepy as a screen actress and should just be the crazy lady on an island on TV. Chris Cooper the only American starring in the all foreign cast made up of Brits, Micks, and Aussies.

No wonder there wasn't a true American patriot in this gruesome tale. The writer Will Fetters thought he would be smart and end the film on the horrific tragedy to happen to the American people ever and to try to make up a crappy half ass boring love story like Remember Me is appalling. Thousands lost loved ones on 911. This writer should be issuing the American people an appologie. Shame on you!

The Last Song

Miley Cyrus is a sweetheart in this touching drama, I cryed at the end. Her real life beau is sure to be seen more of in the future. The on screen chemistry was real unlike other real life couples that share the screen.

The film is about Veronica 'Ronnie' Miller's (Miley) life was turned upside-down when her parents divorced and her father moved from New York City to Tybee Island, Georgia. Three years later, she remains angry and alienated from her parents, especially her father ...until her mother decides it would be in everyone's best interest if she spent the summer on Tybee Island with him. Ronnie's father, a former concert pianist and teacher, is living a quiet life in the beach town, immersed in creating a work of art that will become the centerpiece of a local church. The tale that unfolds is an unforgettable story about love in its myriad forms - first love, the love between parents and children.

Miley is not just an incredible songstress but an amazing actress aswell.

Come Back to Sorrento

A wonderful film to look forward to later this year is Come back to Sorrento written by the talented playwright Daivd Mamet.

Starring the always fabulous William H. Macy and his beautiful wife Felicity Huffman, It is directed by actor turned director Michael Worth. It is sure to be one of the best films of this year and should be up for many, many AWARDS.

The story is about Macy's character, a man with a mysterious past who finds more than he bargained for when he travels to a small town to teach music and along the way he finds love with a lonely house wife. it should be one of the best acted films to date.
